At Kokushikai Academy, students of all ages receive expert judo instruction from a staff of exceptionally trained teachers, including head instructor and 3X Olympian Celita Schutz. Kokushikai is a traditional judo dojo (school), offering monthly instructional courses for both children and adults, as well as private lessons. Students have the opportunity to test their skills in competitions both in-house and outside tournaments. Members can also attend special seminars from international instructors and attend annual day camps as well.

Fun Fact: Judo as a sport has been identified by the US Olympic Committee (USOC) as the best all-around activity for children because it combines total body motor skills while focusing on etiquette and interpersonal skills.  The USOC also found that Judo was the best foundational sport for athletes’ success in all sports and future endeavors!
